Nestled in Shimizu Ward, the guest house exudes a relaxing traditional vibe, allowing me to unwind while enjoying stunning mountain views from my room. The friendly owners not only shared their manga collection but also lent us bicycles, making it easy to explore the nearby hiking trails and the beautiful coastline. The communal kitchen was a fantastic touch, letting my friends and I whip up our own meals-talk about a budget-friendly option! Plus, the location was perfect for accessing local attractions like the Nihondaira Ropeway and Tokai University Marine Science Museum. If you're seeking an authentic and immersive experience in Shizuoka, I wholeheartedly recommend Tessen Guesthouse; it felt like home away from home!
